La ex alumna de la Universidad Excelsior Dorothy Jean Tillman recibi贸 recientemente su doctorado en salud conductual en la Facultad de Soluciones Sanitarias de la Universidad Estatal de Arizona. Su investigaci贸n de tesis se centr贸 en el impacto de la aplicaci贸n de un programa de divulgaci贸n y educaci贸n destinado a reducir el estigma asociado al uso de los servicios de salud mental del campus entre los estudiantes universitarios. Tillman, who is from Chicago, Illinois, started her higher education journey at age 10, earning her associate degree from the College of Lake County, in Grayes Lake, Illinois. She became one of Excelsior鈥檚 youngest graduates in 2018, earning her Bachelor of Science in Liberal Arts when she was 12 years old, before continuing to earn a master鈥檚 degree from Unity College, in Unity, Maine, at age 14. Tillman is the founder and CEO of the DorothyJeanius STEAM Leadership Institute, which creates pathways for underrepresented students to succeed in fields related to science, technology, engineering, art, and math.
